Garden Walk, Garden Talk
Wandering through the home gardens is truly amazing. I have this little wish of finding some time to grow a beautiful garden in my yard. The place where I live in the city is a bit boring without a refreshing little cottage garden. But unlike this city house, I have a green garden at my ‘home sweet home’ in my native town. Having the time to roam in the garden at your leisure is a real luxury and when you do get the opportunity it's amazing what you'll find...
A friend from the horticulture department had given us some flower saplings. We never knew they would turn into something so joyous !
Farm fresh brinjals .... I hate to call them eggplants !
This shade of the Hibiscus is unique. Isn't it?
Periwinkles are simple yet elegant. This white one is looking oh so cheerful ....
Apart from the plants, there is a great circle of life out there in the garden. I wonder if this beehive will disappear when the rains come.
Many more things come into my mind with a walk in the garden. The transition from a bud to flower brings hope and discovery of beauty. The light effects in the garden, brought in by the sunlight are enchanting and magical. The light beckons me to come in and stay a while, to take pleasure in the quiet contemplation. Do you remember the first flower on your plant that left the most satisfaction in your heart? The first flower that caused you to believe that you might actually have a gift for gardening?

???
They say that every individual is capable of making his own choice. but then how many times are this 'own' choices indeed ours?
We get highly influenced by the various things happening around us. How often do we decide up on things without thinking of others? Just as they have a 'ceteris paribus' assumption or 'other things remaining the same' disclaimer in economics, what if we, in our lives had the same?
I can't really opine on how beneficial it would be, but one thing for sure. Life would become very monotonous then.
There is a kind of fun in struggling to keep up with best of all the facets and to get that best combination. There is an interesting moment every time you choose between two awesome options only because choosing one does not just mean letting go the other, but it also means compromising on certain other related things.
What say?
