A Random Distinction

 Hopes and expectations must be clearly distinguished. Mistaking one for other might leave one completely shattered. What makes the difference, I guess, is the sense of 'acceptance'. Yes! Acceptance! When you hope you are aware, or you more so 'accept' the probabilities of failure but still keep moving towards that faint ray of light in the darkest despair. Whereas in case of expectations, the very sense of the outcome being a probable failure is absent.

 So all that I can say is, accept the odds and keep hoping!
